Destination 1 / 9 : It’s well worth stopping at Station Baie-des-Sables in Lac-Mégantic, where you will sleep comfortably at a campsite or in a cabin. Depending on the season, you can enjoy the beach, water sports, a treetop adventure course, hikes, cycling or, in the winter, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, downhill skiing, sledding or snowboarding … what more could you ask for?
Destination 3 / 9 : Next, head to the Cœur Villageois of Piopolis. You can explore the church, the dock, the Des Zouaves Stop and the Sentiers du Clocher; kayak at Solstice Plein Air; and, on summer evenings, take in shows at the Festival St-Zénon de Piopolis. Grab a snack at the Magasin Général or Auberge Au Soleil Levant.

Next, head towards Notre-Dame-des-Bois and visit ASTROLab, where you’ll be amazed at the daytime activities and astronomy evenings. Starry-eyed discovery awaits!

Start your second day off right: are you up to the challenge?
From Notre-Dame-des-Bois, head to Montagne de Marbre (Marble Mountain), also known as “la Falaise,” or “the Cliff.” You’ll know why it’s called that once you start climbing on all fours! A fantastic hike on the Canada-USA border. And if you want to push yourself a little more, once you reach the summit, head towards Mont Saddle, also known as “la Réservée,” or “the Secret.” Your reward? A view of a sea of mountains!
