Joseph-Alfred Fontaine stop – Woburn

You need to stop at Woburn! First, test your watch and have fun with the giant sundial.

Des Zouaves stop – Piopolis

A symbol of the energy and welcoming spirit of its residents, the Halte des Zouaves is a tourist rest stop on Summit Drive that presents the historical heritage of the municipality.

Marston stop – Centre de Loisirs

This rest stop is the starting point for the Sentier Un Lac au Sommet, one of the starring attractions of the Summit Drive trails. Have fun!

Tour d’observation des Hautes Appalaches stop

Located on the edge of Lac Mégantic, this rest stop is worth the detour!

La Porte des étoiles sculpture – Nantes

Marking the Mont Mégantic Dark Sky Reserve area, this monumental work by Matthieu Binette is called La Porte des Étoiles. 

Lac-Mégantic panoramic stop

Stretch your legs at this rest stop on the side of Rue Laval! In front of you, you’ll see the lake and the silhouette of Mont Mégantic in the distance.

Lac-Drolet stop – Parc du Lac

This rest stop will enchant you with its view of the lake and Mount Morne.

St-Sébastien Stop

The rest stop in the village of Saint-Sébastien has a fabulous picnic area. You can also learn a little more about Summit Drive and the Dark Sky Reserve.

Lambton panoramic stop

The municipality of Lambton invites you to its panoramic rest stop that offers a spectacular view over the Grand Lac St-François.

Sommets Étoilés stop – St-Romain

This rest stop is located near the church in St-Romain. Take a break in the gazebo, or in the evening, settle in on the reclined bench to observe the starry heavens!

Stornoway stop

Stornoway, a toponym of Scottish origin, has a great location at the intersection of routes 161 and 108, and its steeple can be seen at the top of a mountain.

Du Barrage stop – Weedon

Relax on the round bench and discover the historical and comedic side of Weedon. Be sure to add this stop to your adventure on Summit Drive!

Ham-Sud stop – Parc des Aînés

The Parc des Aînés municipal rest stop, dotted with historical panels, is a rest area for everyone. You can play pétanque and horseshoes there.

Desjardins stop – St-Adrien

Halte Desjardins is a small park located in the centre of the village of Saint-Adrien. It includes a pavilion with a picnic table and night lighting powered by solar energy.
