Église Ste-Agnès

The neo-Gothic Ste-Agnès Church was completed in 1913. Dominating the downtown, it acts as a beacon in the city. Come and discover its history from past to present. There, you can discover the distinctive features that make it famous. Listen to its bells, admire its organ and feast your eyes on its magnificent stained-glass window. Designed in 1848 in England, it was recently restored. Information is available on site to explain the different steps of the restoration process. You’re also welcome to explore a reflection trail, “La mémoire du cœur,” on your own or with a guide. Guides will greet you and admission is free!

Illumination

Take an evening walk in front of the church to admire the lighting project that won third place in the prestigious 2015–2016 [d]arc Awards Architectural and the IDA Québec 2016 first prize.
The church lights up every evening. Between June 24 and Thanksgiving, you can also take in the light show that plays every night from 9:00 to 9:30 p.m.
