There is a (federal) boat launch on Lac Aylmer in the St-Gérard area, near the dam. On the other side of the road, on the right, the Halte du Barrage, equipped with several picnic tables, is a popular spot. In fact, it’s the ideal place to amble around to the sound of the dam’s rushing water. Meet up to have a picnic and discover the Weedon shed. Relax on the round bench and discover the historical and comedic side of Weedon. Locate the reclined bench so that you can come back to admire the starry sky once night falls.
