This trail for experienced hikers crisscrosses the undergrowth of the mossy fir trees and deciduous forest. Don’t forget your bathing suit! You might want to jump in Lac Thor or do some sunbathing! Take the opportunity to picnic on the sandy shore, one of the park’s hidden gems!
To add another challenge to your hike, go canoeing and see the Massif de Winslow from another angle. Starting from the boat launch on Lac des Îles, canoe over to access #12. From there, follow the trail for 8 km to the summit. Expect the canoe trip to take 30 to 60 minutes one-way, depending on the wind. The hike on foot takes around 2 hours and 30 minutes. Canoe rental rates are added to the entrance fee.
Put on your snowshoes and come explore some soft, tranquil, snow-covered landscapes! The South (Sud) and Saint-Daniel areas offer marked trails ranging from easy to intermediate, for a round trip of more than ten kilometres. (Note that park facilities are closed in winter.)
