Made of igneous rock, the Cimes trail will reveal the ridges of the Mont Mégantic massif.

The magnificent, rocky Franceville ridge will show off all its colours, especially in the fall! To get there, you’ll travel along the stream that sculpted the valley over the years. You’ll be in communion with nature. At the pebble beach, get splashed by one of the many waterfalls. It’s a dream trail for the whole family! The “Porte du ciel,” or “Gate of Heaven” lookout point is named that for a reason: it offers a spectacular view of Mont Pain de Sucre. As well, Pic de l’Aurore reveals the ridge of Mont Saint-Joseph and Mont Mégantic. For the return trip, take the Vallée trail, which is shared with cyclists, or the trail that runs along Ruisseau de la Montagne.
